What it is for
A candle is a quiet gift: sympathy, housewarming, a thank-you. The design sits on the label or vessel and is seen every time it is lit.
Trim the wick and burn it long enough for the surface to melt evenly the first time.
Laser engraving
A laser removes a surface coating or marks the material itself. Nothing is added, so nothing can wear off.
The result is one tone: the colour of the material underneath. There is no colour printing.
The design is cut into the surface; you can feel it with a fingertip on most materials.
Designs that suit it
A label is a small print area — a name, a date, a short line and a simple illustration. Calm designs suit what candles are for.
The print area is on the front: 900 × 900 pixels, about 3.0 × 3.0 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Names, dates, monograms, line art and silhouettes. Less suited: colour, soft shading and photographs, unless converted to a high-contrast line or dot version first.
Sentences that would suit it

Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, then shipped: 5–15 business days to Canada ($39.31 CAD for the first item) and 2–5 business days to the US ($15.47 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Printed in North America, so it ships without an overseas leg and no import duties apply within North America.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by December 4 for Canada and December 18 for the US — that is the Scented Soy Candle, 14oz's own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other candles
- Of the 18 candles in the catalogue, 12 cost less and 5 cost more.
- Its 5 colours are the widest choice of any candle we carry.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 15 business days, is the same as the family's median of 15; no other candles arrive sooner.
- 18 of the 18 are printed in North America, this one included.

Before you order
How long does the Scented Soy Candle, 14oz take to arrive?
To Canada, 5–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $39.31 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($15.47 CAD). It is printed to order in Miami, FL, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Scented Soy Candle, 14oz?
Only as a high-contrast version. Engraving has a single tone, so a photograph needs to be turned into line work or a dot pattern; faces and fine shading lose detail. The print file is 900 × 900 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What colours does the Scented Soy Candle, 14oz come in?
5 colours: Deep Pacific, Cranberry Glow, Opal Iris, Peachy Nude, True Noir (Matte).
When should I order the Scented Soy Candle, 14oz for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Scented Soy Candle, 14oz?
It is laser-engraved, and that sets the care. Hand wash with a soft sponge. No abrasive pads or scouring powder on the engraved area. Dry straight away to avoid water marks on metal and glass.
