What it is for
A candle is a quiet gift: sympathy, housewarming, a thank-you. The design sits on the label or vessel and is seen every time it is lit.
Trim the wick and burn it long enough for the surface to melt evenly the first time.
Digital printing
Digital printing is high-resolution inkjet: pigment ink is laid onto paper, canvas, card or a label in fine dots.
It has the widest colour range of any method here, and the finest detail, which is why it is used for art prints.
The finish depends on the stock — matte, satin or gloss — not on the ink.
Designs that suit it
A label is a small print area — a name, a date, a short line and a simple illustration. Calm designs suit what candles are for.
The print area is on the front: 900 × 600 pixels, about 3.0 × 2.0 in at 300 dpi — a wide, landscape area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, paintings, maps and fine type. Less suited: very large flat areas of a single dark colour on matte stock, which can show slight banding up close.
Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Chatsworth, CA, United States, then shipped: 10–30 business days to Canada ($39.31 CAD for the first item) and 2–5 business days to the US ($11.36 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Printed in North America, so it ships without an overseas leg and no import duties apply within North America.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by November 13 for Canada and December 18 for the US — that is the Scented Soy Candle, 9oz's own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other candles
- Of the 18 candles in the catalogue, 6 cost less and 11 cost more.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 30 business days, is longer than the family's median of 15; 10 other candles arrive sooner.

Before you order
How long does the Scented Soy Candle, 9oz take to arrive?
To Canada, 10–30 business days, with first-item shipping at $39.31 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($11.36 CAD). It is printed to order in Chatsworth, CA, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Scented Soy Candle, 9oz?
Yes. Digital printing is the best method here for photographs: the widest colour range and the finest detail. The print file is 900 × 600 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
When should I order the Scented Soy Candle, 9oz for Christmas?
