Forty people, one sentence, eleven days.
A walkthrough of a forty-person run end to end — what you do, what we do, what it costs in your time, and where it usually goes wrong.

Before the walkthrough
Vessim is new, and we are not going to dress a worked example up as a customer story with a logo and a quotation attached. What follows is the actual mechanism, with the timings our print partners publish and the ones we measure. When there are customers with runs behind them and something to say, their names will be on it.
Day 0 — the brief
You type a sentence: “Heavyweight hoodies for our forty-person team, our logo small on the chest, something about shipping on the back, nothing corporate.” You attach the logo. Three mockups come back in under a minute on an actual hoodie, not a flat rectangle.
You will not like the first three. That is expected and it is free: redesigns are unlimited until you order, so the usual pattern is four or five rounds over about twenty minutes, each one a sentence rather than a brief to a designer.
Day 0 — the size link
Once a design is approved you get a link to send to the team. Each person picks a size and colour and gives their own shipping address; nobody sees anyone else’s. You watch responses land in the dashboard. This is the step that takes real calendar time — three days is typical for forty people, and the last four replies will take two of them. You can set a cutoff and order what you have.
Day 3 — ordering
One checkout for the whole run. The volume break applies automatically at twenty-five units, the invoice is a single line per design with sizes itemised beneath, and procurement covers purchase orders and net terms if that is how your finance team works.
Production starts the same day. The run is split across the partners nearest the recipients rather than printed in one place and flown — which is why a run to both Canadian and US addresses often arrives in both countries at once rather than one a week behind the other.
Days 3–8 — production
Three to five business days. The dashboard shows per-unit state, not one bar for the whole order, so when thirty-six are done and four are held you can see which four and why. A held unit is nearly always a blank out of stock in one size; we will offer the nearest fit or refund that unit rather than delay the other thirty-nine.
Days 8–13 — delivery
Forty parcels, forty tracking numbers, all in one view. Nobody has to forward anything and nobody has to come into an office to collect a bag. If an address was wrong, that parcel comes back to us and you reship it from the same screen — see changes & cancellations for the timing.
Where it actually goes wrong
- Waiting for the last four sizes. The single biggest delay in every run. Set a cutoff on day two.
- A logo supplied as a small PNG. We can work from one, but an SVG or a 2000px original is the difference between crisp and nearly crisp at chest size.
- Choosing embroidery for a detailed mark. Thread cannot hold fine detail. The studio will warn you; the warning is worth reading. See print quality.
- Leaving it eight days before an event. Eleven is typical, not guaranteed. Start three weeks out and the whole thing is relaxed.
Starting one
Describe it in the studio and stop before checkout — everything up to that point costs nothing. For a run with a deadline or a purchase order attached, send the brief and a person will answer within a business day.
If you can imagine it, we can create it.
Anything, designed from a sentence, printed by a partner near you, shipped to the door.
