Christmas is the busiest week of the print year, so it is the one occasion where timing matters as much as the idea. Ornaments with the year, stockings with names, blankets and mugs — ordered by the cutoff, they arrive before the 25th.
With standard shipping, the order-by date for Christmas this year is Fri, Nov 13; every product page shows its own window.
What tends to work: Names and the year on ornaments and stockings; photos on blankets and mugs.
