Every price on Vessim comes from one formula. We take the lowest base cost a print partner charges us for a product, in US dollars. We multiply by 2.2. We convert to Canadian dollars at 1.37. We round up to the whole dollar, and we never go below $12. Shipping is shown separately, before checkout, and it is whatever the partner charges for the first item to your destination.
Why a multiplier, not a markup table
A table of hand-set prices drifts. Costs change, someone forgets a row, and a month later the mug is cheaper than it should be and the hoodie is more expensive than anyone would pay. A multiplier keeps every product honest relative to every other product, and it means that when a partner lowers a cost, the price on the site drops the next time we sync.
What the 2.2 covers
- The three AI designs and unlimited redesigns before you order.
- Human review for anything the automated check flags.
- Reprints and refunds when something arrives wrong, without asking you to ship it back.
- Payment processing, hosting, and the people answering hello@makevessim.com.
- A margin that lets us exist next year.
Why the floor is $12
A sticker sheet costs us under two dollars to print. At 2.2× that would be a $5 product, and a $5 product cannot carry a designed-for-you workflow and a human in the loop. Twelve dollars is the lowest number where the service is still real.
A price you can calculate yourself is a price you can trust.
What we don't do
No anchor pricing, no fake strikethroughs, no subscription that makes the first mug cheap and the twelfth expensive. The price on the product page is the price at checkout, plus the shipping line we showed you.
