What it is for
Clocks, banners, signs and wall decals decorate a specific wall, door or garden.
Outdoor pieces fade faster in direct sun than indoor ones.
UV printing
UV printing jets ink onto the surface and cures it instantly with ultraviolet light, which lets it print directly on rigid and coated materials.
Colour is dense and edges are sharp. On clear or coloured materials a white layer can be laid under the colour so it does not look washed out.
The ink sits on the surface with a very slight raised texture.
Designs that suit it
Bold, simple designs that read from a distance. Signs and banners are read from across a yard.
The print area is on the front: 2,480 × 2,480 pixels, about 8.3 × 8.3 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, sharp graphics and type on hard surfaces. Less suited: very thin lines on textured surfaces, where the ink follows the grain.
Sentences that would suit it
“A home quote with our family name for the new house”
Example design by Vessim. Shown on our example acrylic prints (french cleat hanging).
“Mum's garden in June, all the irises out”
Irises, Vincent van Gogh, 1889. Public domain. Shown on our example acrylic prints (french cleat hanging).
“Our street in autumn, the big trees going gold”
The Large Plane Trees (Road Menders at Saint-Rémy), Vincent van Gogh, 1889. Public domain. Shown on our example acrylic prints (french cleat hanging).
Examples by Vessim: public-domain art and our own lettering, not studio output. The studio designs yours from your sentence.
Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Putian City, Fujian, China, then shipped: 7–15 business days to Canada ($15.19 CAD for the first item) and 7–15 business days to the US ($17.52 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Because it is printed outside North America, import duties or taxes may apply on arrival.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by December 4 for Canada and December 4 for the US — that is the Wooden Hanging Sign's own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other home decor
- Of the 39 home decor in the catalogue, 1 costs less and 37 cost more.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 15 business days, is shorter than the family's median of 30; 3 other home decor arrive sooner.

Before you order
How long does the Wooden Hanging Sign take to arrive?
To Canada, 7–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $15.19 CAD; to the US, 7–15 business days ($17.52 CAD). It is printed to order in Putian City, Fujian, China, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Wooden Hanging Sign?
Yes. UV printing reproduces photographs in full colour on hard surfaces, with sharp edges. The print file is 2480 × 2480 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
When should I order the Wooden Hanging Sign for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 4 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Wooden Hanging Sign?
It is UV-printed, and that sets the care. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. No abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the printed surface.
