What it is for
This is one of the objects in our catalogue that does not fit a neat family. Its options and print area below say what it can carry.
Read the product spec below for the materials and dimensions.
Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing
Direct-to-garment printing works like an inkjet printer for fabric: water-based ink is sprayed into the fibres and cured with heat.
It prints full colour in one pass, so a photograph or a gradient costs the same as a single word. On dark fabric a white base layer goes down first so the colours stay true.
On light fabric the print is barely felt; over a white base on dark fabric it is slightly firmer, like a soft film.
Designs that suit it
A design made at the print size listed below, centred on the printable face.
The print area is on the back: 3,000 × 3,000 pixels, about 10.0 × 10.0 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, paintings, detailed illustration and small type all hold. Less suited: very fine hairlines and large solid blocks of colour on dark fabric, where the base layer is most noticeable.
Sentences that would suit it
“Three peaches on a dark ground for the kitchen of our new house”
Peaches, from Pomona Britannica, George Brookshaw, 1812 (adapted). Public domain. Shown on our example mug 11oz.
“Her name, birth date and weight for a newborn's first outfit”
Example design by Vessim. Shown on our example mug 11oz.
“'But first, coffee' for the friend who can't speak before 9”
Example design by Vessim. Shown on our example unisex heavy cotton tee.
Examples by Vessim: public-domain art and our own lettering, not studio output. The studio designs yours from your sentence.
Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Monroe, NC, United States, then shipped: 10–30 business days to Canada ($29.30 CAD for the first item) and 2–5 business days to the US ($14.51 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Printed in North America, so it ships without an overseas leg and no import duties apply within North America.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by November 13 for Canada and December 18 for the US — that is the Stadium Seat's own longest window counted back from December 25.

Before you order
How long does the Stadium Seat take to arrive?
To Canada, 10–30 business days, with first-item shipping at $29.30 CAD; to the US, 2–5 business days ($14.51 CAD). It is printed to order in Monroe, NC, United States, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Stadium Seat?
Yes. DTG prints in full colour from the image file, so photographs and paintings reproduce well; they look best on high-cotton fabric. The print file is 3000 × 3000 pixels on the back, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What colours does the Stadium Seat come in?
4 colours: Black, Navy, Red, Royal.
When should I order the Stadium Seat for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by November 13 to Canada and December 18 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Stadium Seat?
It is DTG-printed, and that sets the care. Wash inside out in cold water. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly over the print. No bleach or fabric softener on the printed area.
