What it is for
A keychain or tag is tiny, cheap to send, and carried every day.
Most tags are printed on one side; engraved ones carry a single tone.
UV printing
UV printing jets ink onto the surface and cures it instantly with ultraviolet light, which lets it print directly on rigid and coated materials.
Colour is dense and edges are sharp. On clear or coloured materials a white layer can be laid under the colour so it does not look washed out.
The ink sits on the surface with a very slight raised texture.
Designs that suit it
A name, initials or a single bold shape. At this size, one element is plenty.
The print area is on the front: 1,240 × 1,240 pixels, about 4.1 × 4.1 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, sharp graphics and type on hard surfaces. Less suited: very thin lines on textured surfaces, where the ink follows the grain.
Sentences that would suit it
“A dusky rose floral pattern for a reading chair”
Honeysuckle, William Morris, designed 1876. Public domain. Shown on our example tough phone cases.
“Sea anemones like a vintage science plate, for the marine biologist”
Actiniae (Sea Anemones), from Art Forms in Nature, Ernst Haeckel, 1904. Public domain. Shown on our example tough phone cases.
“Mum's garden in June, all the irises out”
Irises, Vincent van Gogh, 1889. Public domain. Shown on our example tough phone cases.
Examples by Vessim: public-domain art and our own lettering, not studio output. The studio designs yours from your sentence.
Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Putian City, Fujian, China, then shipped: 7–15 business days to Canada ($9.85 CAD for the first item) and 7–15 business days to the US ($10.40 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Because it is printed outside North America, import duties or taxes may apply on arrival.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by December 4 for Canada and December 4 for the US — that is the Round Stainless Steel Keychain's own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other keychains and tags
- Of the 14 keychains and tags in the catalogue, none costs less than this one and 10 cost more.
- 3 of them come in more colours than its 1.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 15 business days, is the same as the family's median of 15; no other keychains and tags arrive sooner.
- 9 of the 14 are printed in North America; this one is printed in China.
Looking after it

- No abrasive pads on the printed area.
Before you order
How long does the Round Stainless Steel Keychain take to arrive?
To Canada, 7–15 business days, with first-item shipping at $9.85 CAD; to the US, 7–15 business days ($10.40 CAD). It is printed to order in Putian City, Fujian, China, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Round Stainless Steel Keychain?
Yes. UV printing reproduces photographs in full colour on hard surfaces, with sharp edges. The print file is 1240 × 1240 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
When should I order the Round Stainless Steel Keychain for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 4 to Canada and December 4 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Round Stainless Steel Keychain?
