What it is for
Duvet covers, sheets and comforters are a big gift for a new home, a wedding or a child's room.
Bed sizes differ between countries; check the dimensions in the options against the mattress.
Digital printing
Digital printing is high-resolution inkjet: pigment ink is laid onto paper, canvas, card or a label in fine dots.
It has the widest colour range of any method here, and the finest detail, which is why it is used for art prints.
The finish depends on the stock — matte, satin or gloss — not on the ink.
Designs that suit it
Large patterns and big, simple images. Bedding is seen from a distance, so detail matters less than colour.
The print area is on the front: 5,906 × 8,268 pixels, about 19.7 × 27.6 in at 300 dpi — a tall, portrait area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Photographs, paintings, maps and fine type. Less suited: very large flat areas of a single dark colour on matte stock, which can show slight banding up close.
Sentences that would suit it

“A vase of sunflowers for a friend who needs cheering up”
Sunflowers, Vincent van Gogh, 1888. Public domain. Shown on our example velveteen plush blanket.
