What it is for
An apron is for the person who cooks for everyone else. A name or a joke on one gets worn in front of guests.
Aprons are usually one size with adjustable ties.
Dye sublimation
Sublimation prints the design onto transfer paper with dye ink; heat then turns the dye into a gas that bonds into a polyester coating or polyester fibre.
Colour becomes part of the surface rather than a layer on top, so it is vivid and does not crack or peel. It cannot print white: white in a design shows as the colour of the item itself, which is why sublimated items are white or pale.
There is no texture at all — on fabric you cannot feel the print, and on a mug it is under a smooth coating.
Designs that suit it
A centred chest design or a short line of type. Pockets and ties interrupt the lower half.
The print area is on the front: 4,402 × 4,872 pixels, about 14.7 × 16.2 in at 300 dpi — a roughly square area. The studio generates the design at that size, so it is printed from a full-resolution file rather than an enlarged preview.
Full-colour photographs, paintings and edge-to-edge patterns. Less suited: designs that rely on white ink, and important detail right at seams, handles or edges where the transfer wraps.

Where it is printed, and when it arrives
It is printed to order in Putian City, Fujian Province, China, then shipped: 5–10 business days to Canada ($7.11 CAD for the first item) and 5–15 business days to the US ($8.07 CAD). Each window counts from the day the order is placed and includes printing.
Because it is printed outside North America, import duties or taxes may apply on arrival.
To arrive by Christmas 2026 with standard shipping, order by December 11 for Canada and December 4 for the US — that is the Apron (2 colours)'s own longest window counted back from December 25.
How it compares with our other aprons
- Of the 12 aprons in the catalogue, 1 costs less and 9 cost more.
- 5 of them come in more colours than its 2.
- Its longest delivery time to Canada, 10 business days, is shorter than the family's median of 30; no other aprons arrive sooner.
- 9 of the 12 are printed in North America; this one is printed in China.

Before you order
How long does the Apron (2 colours) take to arrive?
To Canada, 5–10 business days, with first-item shipping at $7.11 CAD; to the US, 5–15 business days ($8.07 CAD). It is printed to order in Putian City, Fujian Province, China, and the window counts from the day you order, printing included.
Can I put a photo on the Apron (2 colours)?
Yes. Sublimation reproduces photographs in full colour with no texture. White areas print as the item's own colour, so a photo with a white background blends into it. The print file is 4402 × 4872 pixels on the front, so a photo should be at least that size to print sharply.
What colours does the Apron (2 colours) come in?
2 colours: Black, White.
When should I order the Apron (2 colours) for Christmas?
With standard shipping, by December 11 to Canada and December 4 to the US. Those dates count this product's longest delivery window back from December 25 in business days. Express shipping at checkout, where it is offered, shortens the window.
How do I look after the Apron (2 colours)?
It is sublimation-printed, and that sets the care. Wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low. No bleach; the colour is in the fibre, so it will not crack.
